During the Society 5.0 Festival, organized by coeci, there will also be a hackathon. Do you want to test your skills on a real challenge? Do you want to learn from others, share your experience and build your network? In that case you should apply to join the Hackathon.
The 5th edition of the Society 5.0 Festival will take place at The Social Hub and the Volkshotel in Amsterdam. It will consist of talks, workshops, interactive installations and performances. We offer a space for creatives, researchers, teacher, technologists and other to come together and work on building an inclusive, sustainable and human centered future.
The Hackathon “Reimagining Autonomy” is organized together with the Dutch broadcaster VPRO and together with them we have sourced challenges from (among others) the Amsterdam Municipality and Public Spaces. Together with a small team of students from different programs you will be addressing one of these challenges under the guidance of experienced coaches.
Why join?
Sounds interesting? Register now through this link . Part of the application process involves a creative exercise: Design a poster, write a poem or shoot a short video that shows us why you deserve to be in one of the teams. If you want to use AI in preparing your assignment that is no problem. But we do ask you to include the prompt(s) you used to generate it.
Applications close at the start of business on October 5th. After this we will make a final
selection.
We will inform you at the latest by the 21st of October if you have been selected.
