Rietveld Sandberg Research

On 13 April 2026, HKU, ArtEZ, AHK and Gerrit Rietveld Academie will organize a workshop day at the Culture Club at AHK, about data(management) in artistic research. The day is aimed at artistic researchers, data stewards and research support. We invite you join us on this day and participate in our three workshops surrounding data management plans, communities and consent, and physical data.
The three workshops will focus on the following:

Workshop 1: We will work on a data management plan (DMP) that is suitable and usable for art research, without losing sight of national standards.

Workshop 2: We will lay the groundwork for an informed consent form that reflects mutual collaboration between researcher and participant.

Workshop 3: Through co-creation, we will develop a poster that visualises: 1) what data in the arts looks like, 2) what data management challenges we encounter, and 3) which solutions may address these challenges.

Program
Every workshop takes 45 minutes and will be held in three rounds, so that every participant can join every workshop.
