Stijn Postema's research and teaching is focused on truth practices in media work, with specific interest in the cross section of journalism and other disciplines, such as arts, humanitarian and legal work, and communication practices. Currently he is working on the NWO-funded research 'journalism as artistic practice' at University of Amsterdam and Ede Christian University of Applied Sciences (CHE). His specialities are: Artistic Journalism, the role of emotions in news media practices, and media education and training with specific focus on investigative journalism, innovation practices, storytelling, research methodologies, and media ethics.
